How we keep AI fair

Dashboard, loyalty views, trends, and channel model are part of the plan — not nickel-and-dimed per click.
Metered AI
Each structured analysis (or regenerate) counts toward a monthly allowance. Cached views do not. Unlimited AI is not offered on flat SaaS.
Shared pool per store
Owner and manager seats share one AI allowance so adding a manager does not double your inference bill by default.
No GMV take rate

Frequently asked questions
- Are these final prices?
- No. They are indicative launch bands so you can budget. We may adjust before Stripe goes live based on cost-to-serve (especially AI) and design-partner feedback. We will not silently switch you to a surprise GMV fee.
- How did you choose $39 / $99 / $299?
- They sit above pure loyalty widgets and below full marketing suites — aligned with an owner/manager ops layer. Growth ($99) is the ICP default. Scale is for multi-store and higher AI volume. See docs/PRICING.md in the repo for packaging rules.
- What counts as an AI analysis?
- One structured run that produces insights and ranked actions for a domain (dashboard, products, loyalty, or trends). Regenerating counts again. Viewing a cached result does not. We prefer scheduled briefs plus manual refresh over burning quota on every page load.
- Why not unlimited AI?
- Inference has real unit cost. Unlimited flat-fee AI either breaks margins or forces everyone to subsidize heavy users. Clear monthly allowances keep pricing fair and sustainable; Growth can add overage packs later, Scale can negotiate volume.
- What happens when I hit the AI limit?
- Starter: upgrade to Growth. Growth: optional analysis pack or upgrade to Scale (when billing is live). Scale: volume or custom ceiling. Core non-AI product features keep working.
- Do seats multiply AI quota?
- No by default. Seats share one pool per store so a manager can act on the same morning brief without doubling cost.
- Is AI live today?
- The in-app AI demo is scripted for walkthroughs (no API key). Live SpaceXAI / xAI calls will be server-side, capped per plan, when connect and billing ship.
- Do you take a percentage of GMV?
- Not the planned model. Preference is subscription tiers with metered AI — not payment-style take rates.
- Can we be a design partner on Scale?
- Yes. Email [email protected]. We would rather co-design multi-store and AI limits with a real operator than sell vapor.
